Our first task was in assisting a community group put together a coherent environmental program, and implementing it:

Understanding the energy efficiency of the existing building, Starting an asphalt garden, Creating an after-school gardening program, Facilitating design workshops, Producing concept drawings and cost estimates, Leading fundraising efforts and managing budget.

Eventually, this initiative lead Chicago Public School to commission Offenberg-Tiritilli, Ltd. who took our program and initial drawings from schematic to construction administration. The greenhouse and rooftop garden were completed in 2010.
