WA|K-H - Walkability Assessment - North Lawndale, Chicago 2019

 

WA|K-H is a project commissioned by the Public Health Institute of Metropolitan Chicago and Elevated Chicago to assess the area around the Kedzie-Homan Blue Line Stop in Chicago, identify the obstacles to walkability and propose areas where physical and perceptual improvements can be made. The goal is to create incentive for people to walk and exercise, by making the streets friendlier to pedestrians. With the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the North Lawndale Community Coordination Council and the Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children
